Ole Red

A Slice of Nashville at ICON Park Orlando

By Amber Alvarez October 10, 2020

We've all heard his music and watched him on American Idol but did you know that Blake Shelton’s restaurant Ole Red titled after his 2008 hit, debuted earlier this Summer in Orlando? Blake's 17,289-square-foot venue which includes two levels, three bars, indoor, outdoor and private event areas  is the newest addition to ICON Park . Located on International drive, Icon Park is a relaxed collection of out of this world eateries, attractions and shopping, knitted together by a green space where families can hang out and anchored by the awe-inspiring Wheel, also known as the Orlando eye, a true Icon!. Ole Red is funky, larger than life and a true slice of Nashville nestled ever so nicely on International Drive.

The vibe is laid-back and genuine. We were greeted and treated with true southern hospitality by all the staff. Get ready for an edge of your seat, real deal concert experience. This place isn't sparing the speakers, lights or sound equipment and is rocking 7 nights a week with Live music every day and all night till 1am. Check out their line up here.

The stage is big but the menu is short and sweet , speaking of sweet, the tea is killer. To start, we tried the house made tots, loaded with pulled pork, cheese curds and an over easy egg. They were amazing. Gabi had the mac and cheese, Landon ordered the pulled pork sandwich, Dad picked the Redneck nachos and I went with the Ribs. Warning don’t order the full rack it's A lot! Ordering is a win-win, everything that comes out of their scratch made kitchen is spot on. They offer specialty cocktails, an extensive selection of beer, wine and Orlando-only specialties. Ole Red is definitely family friendly but would be a blast with friends or fun for date-night, it's an anytime place! One thing is for sure. We were all jamming, dancing and singing the entire way through dinner. A big thank you to the Ole Red team for sending the kids home with a little Red hound pup of their very own.
